Duplex Steel Pipe Fittings are produced from alloys such as UNS S31803 or S32205 with ~22% chromium, ~5% nickel, and ~3% molybdenum. They provide excellent tensile strength (≥620 MPa) and yield strength (≥450 MPa) as well as better resistance to pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion cracking. Their ferritic-austenitic dual-phase structure provides high fatigue strength and toughness. They are fully compliant with ASTM A815 and are applicable for high-pressure and high-temperature systems. Duplex steel is stronger than 300 series stainless steel but has good corrosion resistance in acidic and chloride-rich environments.
