Monel K500 Forged Fittings consist of about 63% nickel, 27–33% copper, and small amounts of aluminum (2.3–3.15%) and titanium (0.35–0.85%). These components enable the alloy to be precipitation-hardened, making it very strong and hard. Monel K500 has a tensile strength of approximately 965 MPa, yield strength of 690 MPa, and elongation of about 20%. It has good resistance to corrosion in seawater and chemical conditions, and additional resistance to stress-corrosion cracking and erosion. These properties render it suitable for high-performance forged parts used in aggressive, high-pressure, and high-stress applications.
