The alloy is characterized by a tensile strength of about 585 MPa, yield strength of about 220 MPa, and elongation of 30–45%, depending on condition and form. The alloy shows particular resistance to intergranular corrosion and chloride-stress cracking, and it is trustworthy in severe chemical and marine environments.
