This content is characterized by superior corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. The tensile strength is usually over 750 MPa, yield strength around 550 MPa, and elongation of 25%. Super duplex steel also exhibits excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking and pitting, even under very aggressive environments.
