Super Duplex Steel S32760 pipe fittings consist of 24–26% chromium, 6–8% nickel, 3–4% molybdenum, and nitrogen, along with tungsten for enhancement of pitting resistance. It has an austenitic-ferritic balance of structure, providing high toughness and strength. Mechanical properties consist of yield strength of approximately 550 MPa, tensile strength of up to 800 MPa, and elongation of 25%. The high PREN of the alloy (generally in excess of 40) provides superior pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking resistance, particularly in chloride-bearing and aggressive media.
