Carbon Steel P235GH has a carbon content of up to 0.16%, silicon up to 0.40%, manganese up to 1.40%, and phosphorus and sulfur in trace amounts. It offers a minimum yield strength of 235 MPa and tensile strength of between 360–500 MPa with good elongation and ductility of about 25–30%. The material resists degradation by mechanical properties in high temperatures, making it suitable for use in boilers, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers. P235GH is also well-resistant to oxidation and can easily be machined and welded with conventional methods.
